The Board of Directors of Maryland DI, is grateful for the service of Sally Gold over the last 16+ years, as she has brought Maryland Creative Problem Solving, Inc (Maryland’s Destination Imagination Affiliate) to a world class level. As Affiliate Director, Sally has provided an unending enthusiasm and provided leadership for learners at all levels to provide creative solutions to STEM and Fine Arts challenges, through creativity, teamwork, communication, and originality. We will miss her positivity and motivation as she is retiring July 31st. The Board of Directors is, at the same time, excited to announce the appointment of Lisa Clark as the new Affiliate Director of MCPSI, as of August 1st, 2020. With 13 years’ experience in a breadth of roles within the organization (i.e. team parent, team manager, regional challenge master), Lisa brings a passion for creativity and celebration that is unmatched. She will lead the Affiliate through these challenging times with new solutions related to our modality and transition, as we face creative problem solving remotely and in team setting(s) as is required by COVID-19 responsiveness, and will not only help us survive but thrive during this pandemic.
