Thank you to all of our teams and volunteers who participated in our Global Finals 2020 Virtual Tournament! Over these past two months, we have been absolutely amazed at the creativity and innovation you have showcased. Now, it’s time to celebrate… and give out some awards and prizes!
Our Virtual Closing Celebration will take place this Thursday, July 16 at 8 p.m. ET and will be hosted by our favorite Global Finals emcee, CZ! We will share highlight reels from the Summer of Creativity, interact with teams and supporters, and give out some awesome awards and prizes. Because we have teams from many different locations and time zones participating, we will have an interactive replay of the Closing Celebration on Friday, July 17 at 9 a.m. ET so that every team has a chance to watch and participate in the festivities. Both broadcasts will be approximately 45 minutes long and will take place on our DITV page.
During the Closing Celebration, we will announce all of our award and prize winners in all age groups and Challenge categories. However, tournament results will not be sent to teams until after the interactive replay on July 17.
We will also have special remarks from our Executive Director, Michele Tuck-Ponder, as well as other special guests.
