As a Destination Imagination (DI) Team Manager, I have watched my two sons roll up their sleeves and learn to rely on their own instincts to solve DI Challenges. I have found these Challenges to be a great representation of the challenges I face at work as the Director of Customer Solutions at Tableau Software. Time management, resource constraints and the need to collaborate with co-workers are issues most of us deal with every day in the business world. Solving a DI Challenge is also a great representation of the challenges we face in a disruptive post-Covid world, in that we will need to solve problems that we have never faced before. These are the very skills that children learn through DI. I donate to Destination Imagination because DI gives kids the opportunity to be prepared for this uncertain future and I believe this is an experience worth supporting!
I hope you will join me in supporting Destination Imagination through the Hats On For Creativity fundraiser. Help me in raising $10,000 for DI by December 31, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.
