New for the 2017-18 season!
To simplify the process of choosing your Challenge, the way your team receives access to Team Challenge materials has changed. Your team will have the opportunity to review Challenge preview videos and one-page summaries for each of our competitive Team Challenges (available in August). After your review, your team will choose the Challenge that you are most interested in. Once you have purchased a 2017-18 Team Number, you will be given full access to that one Challenge for the rest of the Destination Imagination season.
Learning about Destination Imagination for the first time?
Destination Imagination (DI) is a project-based learning experience that applies the creative process across seven challenge areas—technology, science, engineering, fine arts, improvisation, service learning, and early learning—and is open to any team of students from kindergarten through university. By participating in Destination Imagination Team Challenges, students gain the 21st century skills needed to thrive in school, careers and beyond, including creative and critical thinking, collaboration, and project management. Teams have the opportunity to showcase their innovative Challenge solutions at Regional and Affiliate DI competitions and vie for a spot at Global Finals—the world’s largest celebration of creativity.
Check out our Challenge Program page to find out more about our project-based learning experiences and how you can provide your students or young ones with opportunities to help them explore their curiosities, expand on their creative abilities and develop the courage and skills it takes to succeed in school, careers and life.
