By participating in Destination Imagination (DI), students learn valuable project management skills. And now, Destination Imagination, Inc. CEO, Dr. Chuck Cadle, is challenging your team to show us what you’ve got!
For our CEO Challenge, DI students in grades 7-12 will participate in a 50-question project management test. Each team that takes and passes the test (all team members must take and pass the exam) will receive a $50 gift certificate to use on our ShopDI website, where you can purchase the latest DI apparel, accessories and books.
In addition, each team member who passes the test with a 70% or higher will also earn their project management badge, which can be shared and easily verified by potential employers or colleges.
The project management test will take approximately 1-hour to complete and will use the language of the Project Management Institute. The following subjects will be covered by this exam:
- Project Stakeholder Management
- Project Risk Management
- Project Communications Management
- Project Human Resources Management
- Project Quality Management
- Project Time Management
- Project Score Management
- Project Integration Management
- Process Groups
- Project Management Foundational Knowledge
All of that may sound more intense that what you learned in Destination Imagination, but DI participants experience and lead the project management process as they work through the Challenges. You do a part of the project management process at every meeting!
